What is the best axe for EDC (every day carry)?

It must be robust, resistant, multi-functional, and practical to use.

Cimo developed the AX axe to meet all these needs and be reliable, ideal for daily use in your EDC. Made from SAE 1075 carbon steel and high-resistance textured paint, in the center of the axe's cutting head there are 5 hex wrenches (16 – 17 – 19 – 20 – 22) that you can use on your bicycle, motorcycle, or wherever you need, robust handle made of RigiFlex, an exclusive material developed by CIMO, with a design that facilitates its use in various situations, from heavy to precise cutting and, of course, a full tang profile.

The AX Axe was developed with the union of Brazilians who love EDC (every day carry) and field professionals.

Axe made of carbon steel with textured paint.

Laser-cut blade made of SAE 1075 carbon steel and heat-treated in a controlled atmosphere, which achieves the ideal hardness and toughness, perfect for an axe that requires great resistance in extreme use.

To ensure maximum resistance to carbon steel oxidation, we developed a paint that goes through several processes with the application of tricationic phosphate, until reaching the final result of a robust and resistant product.

With a thickness of 4 mm and a full-tang profile, the cutting blade and handle are made from a single piece of steel without joints or splices, which guarantees greater resistance and impact absorption. Combined with a hollow grind sharpening, your axe is complete.

RigiFlex Acrylic Handle

RigiFlex is a material developed by CIMO for use in cutlery, it is made by combining materials in different colors of acrylic resin, your knife or axe will have a resistant, waterproof, easier to clean handle, and of course, with a contemporary grip.

We designed the axe handle for better experience and practicality.

3 stages of cutting grip:

1-Heavy: Cuts that require greater impact and cutting power.

You can use it for heavy cuts to cut larger logs.

2-Comfortable: Suitable for cuts with a longer sequence of successive blows.

Application of medium intensity cuts for material adjustments.

3 – Precise: Notches, adjustment of cuts with greater precision in work.

Made of Rigiflex and fastened with stainless steel (black) screws. At the end of the handle you'll find a hole for your paracord or lanyard to always keep your axe close.

For greater safety and to take your axe wherever you want, it comes with a genuine leather sheath with reinforced stitching and snap button closure with the CIMO logo, thus keeping your axe's edge always protected.
