About Cimo

In 1964, in a small shed of approximately 150 m², we founded what would become one of the benchmarks in cutlery in Brazil. With designs still drawn on paper and almost 100% manual production, our first 3 pocketknife models were born.

In the 80s, seeing the need to grow, we adopted new strategies and increased production with the creation of new items.

We grew and became CIMO. We moved from the first rented shed to owning our own headquarters with over 6,000 m² of land and more than 3,000 m² of built area.

With an increasing number of customers and employees in the mid-90s, we began significant investments in machinery and equipment to meet production needs. In 2003, we implemented automation of manufacturing processes.

Following international market trends, we made changes to packaging, new product designs with safety locks, and partnerships with the largest cutlery companies in the United States.

In 2016, we completely revamped the Brand and created new designs and functions for products. At this point, we had already become a company with products nationally recognized for technology, which began to be compared with the best brands in the world.

Today, over 90% of our items are laser-cut, ensuring high precision and less material waste.

We know that the innovation process must be continuous, and we will work every day to deliver the best to you, who will always be our greatest asset.

100% Brazilian

With more than 350 products in our catalog, in addition to knives and pocket knives, we produce barbecue forks, sharpening steels, tongs, axes, machetes, cleavers, and sheaths.

All designs are exclusive and developed by us; our team includes highly skilled professionals to design the best cutlery solutions for our customers.

All our products are manufactured and assembled in Brazil.

Sustainability

Knowing the importance and impact that sustainable practices can bring to future generations, in 2021 CIMO implemented a clean energy system. Today 100% of the energy we consume is generated by solar panels. But we won't stop there; we already have a water reuse project underway, and we always partner with companies that share our same concepts, so that together we can carry this idea forward.
