The EC85T pocket knife is made of 420C stainless steel (special steel with oxidation resistance and high hardness - 52-55Hrc) and titanium-coated with CIMO BTi (Black Titanium) technology. Tanto profile black blade with a brushed finish, resulting in a bluish-black color. CIMO

What is CIMOBTi – Black Titanium technology, anyway?

This Black titanium application technology for cutlery was developed by Cimo for coating stainless steel blades and movable components such as screws and pocket clips. With this, we deposit titanium on the surface of the components, increasing their lifespan and also giving the blade a dark (black) coloration with a bluish-black hue.

The Cimo EC85T pocket knife blade is made of AISI 420C stainless steel coated with Titanium and has a hardness of 52-55 Hrc.

The tanto profile is a classic Japanese design widely used in Samurai swords. Our reinterpretation of this blade is ground using the hollow grind process, with a design developed by CIMO. It has a precise cut, incredibly durable sharpness, and in its manufacturing process, the blade is tempered at 1000 ºC, and tests are carried out that simulate atmospheric effects, proving that the pocket knife has longevity.

Produced with certified stainless steel and sharpening control, the Eclipse pocket knife is truly unique.

Safety Lock
