The EC85C-BTI penknife is made of 420C stainless steel (special steel with oxidation resistance and high hardness - 52-55Hrc) and titanium coated with CIMO BTi (Black Titanium) technology. Cleaver profile with a black blade and brushed finish, resulting in a bluish-black color.

What is CIMOBTi – Black Titanium technology anyway?

This Black Titanium application technology in cutlery was developed by Cimo for coating stainless steel blades, moving components such as spindles and pocket clips. With this, we deposit titanium on the surface of the components, increasing their lifespan and also giving a dark (black) bluish-black color to the blade.

The Cimo EC85C penknife blade is made of AISI 420C stainless steel with a hardness of 56-58 Hrc. The cleaver profile is an incredible tool in your pocket, manufactured with full flat grind and a design developed by CIMO. It has precise cutting, incredibly durable sharpening, and during its manufacturing process, the blade is tempered at 1000 ºC, and tests are performed that simulate atmospheric effects, proving the penknife's longevity.

Produced with stainless steel, certified and with controlled sharpening, the Eclipse penknife is truly differentiated.

Safety Lock
