The Cimo K85C-G10-BTI knife is the Titanium version of the Komodo Cleaver K85C knife. It maintains all the main features, including the efficient safety lock and pocket clip, with a design suitable for daily use in your EDC. In addition to the titanium-coated cleaver profile blade, all fastening screws, blade backrest, and pocket clip are also coated with our Bti (Black Titanium) technology. What was already robust for extreme situations like a Komodo Dragon is now almost indestructible.

What is CIMOBTi – Black Titanium technology?

This Black Titanium application technology in cutlery was developed by Cimo for coating stainless steel blades and movable components like screws and pocket clips. With this, we deposit titanium on the surface of the components, increasing their lifespan and giving the blade a dark (black) color with a bluish black hue.

Cleaver blade made of stainless steel coated with BTi and one-hand opening:

The blade of the Cimo K85C-G10-BTi knife is made of AISI 420C stainless steel with a hardness of 52-55 Hrc. The cleaver profile is an incredible tool in your pocket, made with a full flat grind and a design developed by CIMO. It has a precise cut, incredibly durable sharpness, and a manufacturing process where the blade is tempered at 1000 ºC. Tests simulating atmospheric effects are carried out, proving the knife's longevity.

With BTi (Black Titanium) application, which guarantees a surface hardness of 3000 vickers, comparable to the hardness of Sapphire.

The cleaver profile, which facilitates general use with greater precision, combined with our razor-like full flat grind, gives you an incredibly sharp and resistant tool, with a thickness of 2.5 mm and a length of 8.5 cm, a size that can be considered a large knife yet very practical for your EDC (everyday carry).

The iconic hole in the blade is inspired by the shape of a Komodo dragon's eye. With it, you can open the knife with just one hand, and of course, hear the perfect "click" of its lock engaging the blade. Beyond seeing the quality, you feel it when opening a CIMO blade.

Digital Camouflage G10 Handle (green):

The G10 handle with a digital camouflage design in green and a textured grip, cut by a computerized process, ensures a perfect fit for the handle and screws. With rounded and precise edges on the scales, at the back you will find a hole for your paracord or lanyard.

Safety Lock

The safety lock is a Cimo trademark. It prevents accidents and keeps you safe when storing it in your pocket, backpack, or wherever you wish, as it undergoes practical tests and precision in its manufacture and assembly.

Titanium-coated Pocket Clip

The knife also features a titanium-coated pocket clip (rear clip), providing practicality for carrying. It can be attached to a pocket or belt. Another advantage is that it can be opened with just one hand.
