The Cimo K85-G10-BTI pocketknife is the Titanium version of the Komodo K85 pocketknife. It retains all the main features, maintaining the efficient safety lock and pocket clip with a suitable design for daily use in your EDC. In addition to the titanium-coated blade, all fastening screws, blade back, and pocket clip are also coated with our Bti (Black Titanium) technology. What was already robust for extreme situations like a Komodo Dragon is now almost indestructible.

After all, what is CIMOBTi – Black Titanium technology?

This Black Titanium application technology in cutlery was developed by Cimo for coating stainless steel blades and movable components such as screws and pocket clips. With this, we deposit titanium on the surface of the components, increasing their lifespan and also giving a dark (black) color to the blade with a bluish-black finish.

Stainless Steel blade coated with BTi and one-hand opening:

The blade is manufactured with 420C stainless steel and a controlled atmosphere tempering process that achieves high hardness even for a 420 series steel. With this, we combine hardness that will retain the cutting edge longer and, at the same time, have greater resistance to oxidation.

With the application of BTi (Black Titanium) that guarantees a surface hardness of 3000 Vickers, comparable to the hardness of Sapphire.

The clip point profile facilitates general use with greater precision, combined with our hollow grind sharpening, you have an incredibly sharp and resistant tool, with a thickness of 2.5 mm and a length of 8.5 cm, a size that we can consider a large pocketknife and yet very practical for your EDC (everyday carry).

The iconic hole in the blade is inspired by the shape of a Komodo dragon's eye. With it, you can open the pocketknife with just one hand, and of course, hear the perfect "click" of its lock engaging the blade. Besides seeing the quality, you feel it when opening a CIMO blade.

Handle in Digital Camo G10 (green):

The G10 handle with a green digital camouflage pattern and non-slip texture, cut by a computerized process, ensures a perfect fit for the handle and screws. With rounded and precise scale edges, on the back you will find a hole for your paracord or lanyard.

Safety Lock

The safety lock is a Cimo trademark. It prevents accidents and keeps you safe when storing it in your pocket, backpack, or wherever you want, as it undergoes practical tests and precision in its manufacturing and assembly.

Titanium Coated Pocket Clip

The pocketknife also features a titanium-coated pocket clip (back clip) for practical transport, which can be attached to a pocket or belt. Another advantage is that it can be opened with just one hand, thus offering practical design and safety.
