Oiti: a nova linha de facas para churrasco da Cimo

Cimo's role in the cutlery industry has always been to offer the best in material quality, design functionality, and cutting efficiency. To honor this commitment, we are launching another product: the Oiti knife line!

In its more than 50 years of existence, Cutelaria Cimo seeks to combine the tradition of its history with the technological innovation the market demands. This is how we present the Oiti: the meeting point between Brazilians' classic passion for meat meals and oriental design focused on the best handling performance.

The versatility of Santoku knives and the precision of Chef knives, together, in a complete kit, accompanied by a sharpener and carving fork. Its use is recommended for barbecues and other kitchen activities that require more preparation skill.

Why use Cimo's Oiti Knives?

The Oiti line products offer the same cutting precision common to Cimo's knives, machetes, and pocket knives, in addition to the already recognized quality of stainless steel. The contemporary design, ease of use, and finish are impeccable.

The main differentials this new line brings you include three fundamental points for those who live in the world of cutlery:

  • The versatility of having two types of design in a single kit – Santoku and Chef – which expand usage possibilities;
  • The practicality of the Santoku blade, which can be used for cutting various foods, without the need to switch knives in the process;
  • The fair and accessible price, which offers excellent value for money when we consider the durability of the products and the quality of the raw materials used.

These factors are especially interesting for those who don't want to waste time in the kitchen separating the ideal knives for each dish they are going to prepare – a recommended practice, but one that can be optimized with the Santoku!

If you are on the survivalism team, you can count on these products for cooking in the wilderness, as you won't need to carry numerous options that weigh down your backpack – just a pocket knife and an Oiti knife, and you'll be ready.

Not to mention the savings in utensils that need to be sanitized after preparing food. Santoku and Chef knives can be sharpened less frequently, which keeps your sharpener efficient for longer.

We couldn't fail to mention the quality of the Oiti kit blades. The knives feature three types of grinding, meaning the cut varies according to the applied blade:

Full flat

This shape allows for more precise and clean cuts, making it ideal for gastronomy. It is easy to sharpen because it is thinner.

Hollow grind

It has a more concave shape, with the sides slightly more curved inwards. It is good for cleaning meats, for example.

Clip point

The tip of this blade is more upward-sloping, making it another great option for opening meats and for use in barbecue knives.

The Oiti design also stands out: the Jatobá wood handle is inverted to provide more comfort during handling. Jatobá wood is resistant to water and use, in addition to having an excellent finish, ideal for filleting.

It is an opportunity to acquire or gift an exclusive product, as each unit is unique, featuring a specific serial number. Take the opportunity to create your personalized kit as you prefer!
