The Cimo 3001/8-GTi Knife is the Gold Titanium version of the Cimo Oiti Chef Knife; it retains all the main features such as the jatobá wood handle. With full flat sharpening that ensures the best cut and a titanium-coated blade with our GTi (Gold Titanium) technology, this knife becomes something beyond cutting—the knife, which was already resistant, is now almost indestructible.

What exactly is CIMOGTi – Gold Titanium technology?

This Gold Titanium Nitride application technology in cutlery was developed by Cimo for coating stainless steel blades, moving components like screws, and pocket clips. With this, we deposit titanium on the surface of the components, increasing their lifespan and also giving a golden color to the blade.

    *Titanium is considered a biomaterial (biocompatible material) due to its low reactivity and high stability, ideal for use in the kitchen, barbecue, or fishing.

Knife with golden blade, made of stainless steel and GTi coated.

The blade is made of 420C stainless steel and tempered in a controlled atmosphere to achieve high hardness even though it is a 420 series steel. With this, we manage to combine hardness that will retain the cutting edge longer and, at the same time, have greater resistance to oxidation.

With the application of GTi (Gold Titanium) technology, which guarantees a superficial hardness of 3000 Vickers, comparable to the hardness of Sapphire.

Blade with a Brazilian Chef Profile following the strictest international standards (French and German) with a CIMO design. Suitable for general use in the kitchen and barbecue, versatile for cutting and slicing meats, due to its upward-sloping tip (clip point), it facilitates certain types of cuts with correct movement.

With full flat sharpening (grinding the entire blade, forming a razor edge), this makes the cut last longer and makes it easier to cut tougher objects without losing the blade's strength, while at the same time making it a lighter blade compared to traditional sharpening,

Jatobá handle and titanium bolster.

The oiti line handle is an exclusive design by Cutelaria Cimo, designed for daily use. The handle has an inverted design with the larger part at the front of the handle, thus improving the ergonomics and practicality of using the knife, with balanced weight and the use of jatobá wood and a stainless steel bolster coated in titanium.

With all these items, we add more comfort with prolonged use of the knife in the kitchen or barbecue.

Comes with a special case, with magnetic closure and velvet lining.
