The Cimo 3001/8-BTI Knife is the Titanium Black version of the Cimo Oiti Chef Knife. It maintains all the main features such as the jatoba wood handle. With full flat sharpening that ensures the best cut and a titanium-coated blade with our BTI (Black Titanium) technology, this knife becomes something beyond cutting—the knife that was already resistant is now almost indestructible.

After all, what is CIMOBTi – Black Titanium technology?

This Black Titanium application technology in cutlery was developed by Cimo for coating stainless steel blades and movable components such as screws and pocket clips. With this, we deposit titanium on the surface of the components, increasing their lifespan and also giving a dark (black) coloration to the blade with a bluish-black hue.

Knife with black blade, made of stainless steel and BTi coated.

The blade is made of 420C stainless steel and tempered in a controlled atmosphere to achieve high hardness even though it is a 420 series steel. With this, we combine hardness that will retain the cutting edge longer and, at the same time, have greater resistance to oxidation.

With the application of BTi (Black Titanium) technology, which guarantees a surface hardness of 3000 Vickers, comparable to the hardness of Sapphire.

Blade with a Brazilian Chef Profile, following the strictest international standards (French and German) with CIMO design. Suitable for general use in the kitchen and barbecue, versatile for cutting and slicing meats, due to its upward-sloping tip (clip point), it facilitates certain types of cuts with correct movement.

With full flat sharpening (the blade is ground completely, forming a razor edge), which makes the cut last longer and facilitates cutting harder objects without losing the blade's resistance, and at the same time makes the blade lighter compared to traditional sharpening.

Jatoba handle and titanium guard.

The handle of the oiti line is an exclusive design by Cutelaria Cimo, designed for daily use, the handle has an inverted design with the larger part at the front of the handle. This provides ergonomics and practicality in using the knife, with balanced weight and the use of jatoba wood and a stainless steel guard coated in titanium.

With all these items, we add more comfort for prolonged use of the knife in the kitchen or barbecue.

Comes with a special case, with magnetic closure and velvet lining.
