A Skinner knife, or hide-stripping knife, is generally used in the field to prepare meat for roasting. It is more than a knife; it is a professional tool widely used by cattlemen or cowboys in Brazilian cattle ranching. Generally, the Skinner or cattleman's knife has a strong cutting edge and is made with short blades. A good Skinner knife is not very flexible for optimal performance.

CIMO BRABA 2 Knife

Cimo created the Braba line of knives with the intention of being more than just a Skinner knife. It is a knife for everyday field use and has all the characteristics of a traditional Skinner with some elements that make it a versatile knife.

A compact and robust knife, that's Braba!

Blade with rounded, monoblock profile.

Made of tempered stainless steel and laser-cut, the blade has a rounded drop point profile and is manufactured from a monoblock, meaning the blade and handle are a single piece, making the knife resistant and well-balanced.

The sharpening is done with a hollow grind process and cooled to prevent the steel from losing its original resistance designed in the tempering process.

With a brushed finish and a thickness of 3mm, the blade of the Cimo Skinner Braba 2 knife is more than just a sharp blade.

Textured wooden handle

The handle is made of certified jatobá wood with a non-slip texture for better grip during use of the rigid blade. At the end of the handle, we added a lanyard hole for you to personalize your knife.

Brown genuine leather sheath

The leather sheath for the Braba 2 knife was designed with a side loop to be worn on the back and without a clasp on the handle to always be at hand when you need it.
