A new meaning for the word "Pica-fumo" (tobacco pipe/pipe smoker - a type of pocket knife), this is how we define the Cimo Navalha BTi - (Black Titanium) pocket knife.

We have redesigned the traditional pica-fumo pocket knives that have been manufactured by Cimo since 1964, giving the product new meaning without losing its tradition.

420C stainless steel blade, stainless steel and carbon fiber handle, we added a pocket clip combined with our titanium technology (BTi-Black Titanium), so the surface hardness of all parts of the pocket knife reaches the hardness of sapphire (3000 vickers). It was made for you to use in your daily life because the titanium coating increases resistance for the most extreme situations.

So, what exactly is the CIMOBTi – Black Titanium technology?

This Black Titanium application technology in cutlery was developed by Cimo for coating stainless steel blades, moving components such as screws and pocket clips. With this, we deposit titanium on the surface of the components, increasing their lifespan and also giving a dark (black) color to the blade with a bluish-black finish.

See below for the advantages of having a Cimo blade with our BTi technology:

  • Material surface with hardness above 3000 vickers, equivalent to sapphire hardness
  • Biocompatibility* - will not leave residue or interact with food.
*Titanium is considered a biomaterial (biocompatible material) due to its low reactivity and high stability, ideal for use in the kitchen, barbecue, or fishing.
  • 100% national manufacturing
  • Non-stick surface
  • Chemical stability - Increased anti-rust property of stainless steel.
  • Resistance against wear, scratches, or scrapes

The Cimo NV59CLIP-FC-BTI Pocket Knife is a classic REDESIGNED model, manufactured from 420 C stainless steel (special steel with oxidation resistance - 52-55Hrc) with a traditional straight blade profile, polished finish, and wooden insert.

Hollow grind blade, with a design developed by CIMO, it has precise cutting, incredibly durable sharpening in 420C stainless steel. During its manufacturing process, the blade is tempered at 1000 ºC, and tests are performed that simulate atmospheric effects, which certify the quality of the pocket knife blade.

It is produced with certified stainless steel, aligned with a classic design with a modern touch; the Navalha pocket knife is truly distinctive. Furthermore, all our products impress with their durability and (controlled production process), slipjoint system without lock, carbon fiber handle with screw fastening.

Pocket Clip:

With a pocket clip made of tempered stainless steel and fastened with 3 stainless steel screws, this ensures that your pocket knife will stay secure in your pocket without the need for traditional leather sheaths.

In summary, a pocket knife designed to be a modern classic, with a timeless appearance and unmistakable CIMO design, a slip joint system in tempered stainless steel that ensures safety when using the knife, a handle made of stainless steel and carbon fiber, it has precise cutting and incredibly durable sharpening.
